I’m so thankful I had a childhood before technology took over
“So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.”

i think it’s a universal truth that everyone in our generation takes pluto’s losing its planetary status as a personal offense
pluto is smaller than russia. why did we ever even consider it a planet?
BECAUSE IT’S A PART OF OUR SOLAR SYSTEM
OHANA MEANS FAMILY
FAMILY MEANS NO ONE IS LEFT BEHIND
i may not be your cup of tea but i’m your 10th shot of tequila

The summer I began to live again
I started my summer off with a guy who was an asshole and spending most of my time on social media. If I went somewhere, I took a picture because I wanted the whole world to see how much fun I was having. And I’ve realized that’s a trend on social media now- we all compete to see who has the better profile.
So I told myself that I was going to make myself happy this summer by cutting that shit head out of my life and staying off social media as much (not completely because here I am). I found out what truly makes me happy and how to not depend on anyone else to make me feel that way. I LOVE gardening and I also love hanging out with my family. My favorites days are the ones spent at the river, catching and cooking fish. I’ve learned how to just BE. If I’m doing something cool and fun, I’ve learned to lay my phone down and completely experience what I was doing without constantly taking pictures. Because If you’re constantly taking pictures, you aren’t having too much fun.
I’ve stopped updating my profiles as much. It’s kind of fun really, you know, being off the radar. Making people actually wonder what you’re doing instead of constantly knowing from my updates. It’s like I have my own secrets because not everyone knows that I’m in a different state or that I’m doing something totally awesome. Maybe at the end of summer I’ll post an album with my pictures from the whole summer, but for right now, it’s my time and my secrets.
I am slowly but surely winning my life back from social media.
y’all think having a period sucks but try having to fix your penis discreetly through your pocket
having the insides of your organs shed and come out through your genitals does not compare to having displaced balls sorry
none of you can do it discreetly anyways
we see you
Don’t you dare
For someone else’s comfort -
Do not become small
For people who refuse to grow.
that one word,
such as a name
or a place,
can break down
walls of steel
and make you
all at once.
